Authentic Buddhist Temple Accomodations (Shukubo)

Zenkoji is a traditional Japanese Buddhist temple located in the historic and scenic city of Hida-Takayama. We welcome guests from all countries and creeds who wish to learn about Japanese culture and Buddhist traditions. We are a non-profit organization, and our goal is to give guests a chance to learn about Japan. Those who wish to stay in our temple will sleep in Japanese-style rooms with futon and tatami, in an authentic Buddhist temple.
